Clinical Lab Scientist II, Laboratories-Clinical, Per Diem, Day/Evenings

* Minimum of completed pre-licensure training in California State Department Public Health accredited training program* Minimum of three years of general laboratory experience in a hospital or acute care setting or three (3) continuous years with Marin General Hospital.* Lic Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS-L) required at hire.* Integrative Agitation Management (IAMTAC) required within 30 days of hire* Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred at hire.* Ability to work in teams in which all members are mutually accountable* Ability to work collaboratively with team members, hospital staff, patients, and physicians* Willingness and ability to be trained in more than one laboratory discipline* Capable of organizing multiple tasks, using time management skills and attention to detail* Basic computer knowledge with the ability to do data entry and retrieval* Knowledge of blood/body fluid precautions* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills* Ability to read, speak, write, understand and follow English verbal and written instructions* Demonstrated technical proficiency* Ability to delegate and direct others in the performance of laboratory procedures* Must demonstrate the desire to further their knowledge in laboratory science and the willingness to accept additional responsibilities such as but not limited to staff development (e.g. training, in-service, internships, new technology evaluation, assist in test validation, teaching, resource person, etc.).**Patient Privacy (HIPAA Compliance):**Employees in this position have access to protected health information.
