Welder Fairfield, AL Our client is seeking a skilled welder to perform welding and fabrication tasks on metal components and structures. This role is responsible for producing high-quality welds, reading blueprints, and ensuring all work meets safety and production standards in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, stick, or flux-core welding processes Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications Cut, grind, and prepare metal components for welding and assembly Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy Repair and modify metal parts as needed Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Skills and Experience Qualifications Prior welding experience required Ability to pass welding test (if applicable) Ability to read blueprints and measurements Strong attention to detail and precision Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions Experience in industrial or fabrication environments preferred Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Work Environment Industrial or fabrication shop setting Exposure to heat, noise, and metal materials Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Summary This position is responsible for producing strong, accurate welds and supporting fabrication operations to ensure high-quality finished products.
