Litigation Paralegal

The Direct Hire Division of Consilio, LLC is working with a highly regarded law firm that is seeking to hire a Litigation Paralegal. This position is not with Consilio directly; it is a direct hire, permanent opportunity with the law firm. Litigation Paralegal Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid) Position Summary Seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal in Washington, D.C. This hybrid role will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal. The ideal candidate will have strong case management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment, Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals. Draft, review, and file legal documents with federal and state courts. Manage case files, pleadings, correspondence, and litigation calendars. Coordinate and oversee document production, e-discovery, and document databases. Conduct legal and factual research utilizing Westlaw and other research tools. Prepare deposition, hearing, arbitration, mediation, and trial materials. Coordinate with outside counsel, clients, expert witnesses, and vendors. Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements. Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and exhibits. Support attorneys with presentations, reports, and case-related analysis. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience required. Paralegal certificate required. Experience supporting complex litigation matters. Healthcare legal or healthcare litigation experience preferred. Strong understanding of federal and state court procedures and filing requirements. Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities and deadlines. Advanced proficiency in Westlaw, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
