Overview The Operations Division, Industry Services Branch (ISB) is seeking a motivated and dynamic leader to join our team as a Staff Services Manager I. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills who is ready to take on a challenging role focused on strengthening and supporting the ISB workforce. Under the direction of the Branch Chief, the Staff Services Manager I will play a key role in supporting expanded analytical responsibilities within the branch due to the implementation of the Occupational Licensing (OL) Digital eXperience Platform (DXP). This position will also review and recommend innovative solutions to improve internal procedures and provide administrative support as the Vehicle Registration (VR) DXP is introduced. Responsibilities Develop and support strategies to strengthen the ISB workforce Analyze existing operational systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements Support branch leadership with analytical, administrative, and project-based work Contribute to successful implementation and integration of OL DXP and VR DXP initiatives Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Qualifications Effective leadership skills to guide, motivate, coach, and mentor an analytical team Experience analyzing operational systems and designing process improvements Ability to adapt to changing business needs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership and project management capabilities Ability to present information to internal and external audiences Strong attention to detail Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills In-depth understanding of organizational goals and objectives Knowledge of DMV industry services and customer needs Documentation and reporting expertise Commitment to teamwork and collaboration Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods of time Notes : Applying to the state has a few steps you may be unfamiliar with.
