Plant Manager## About the RoleThis position is tasked with the efficient, safe, and environmentally correct operation and growth of the Sika Lakewood, NJ facility. The incumbent is expected to develop and implement new programs to achieve higher quality and productivity and be the Corporation's representative to direct and achieve our Vision in the Manufacturing Plant by cultivating an environment of confidence and trust.***Specific Responsibilities:**** Attain annual safety goals through a solid understanding of safety management as well as the ability to convey and enforce safety rules and procedures throughout the manufacturing organization.* To attain annual quality and delivery goals, this position must be familiar with the product quality demands of manufacturers. Problem-solving, error-proofing and mentoring skills are required. The incumbent must have the ability to map processes and identify non-value-added activities to streamline production activities.* Demonstrated ability to team up with the engineering, maintenance, and quality functions including participating in capital planning, preventative maintenance, and problem solving.* A comprehensive knowledge of continuous improvement concepts including statistical process control and lean manufacturing is also required.
