Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation | North Carolina
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

Position Overview

Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing environment. This role focuses on delivering safe, compassionate nursing services while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident health and well-being.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans and physician orders

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

• Monitor residents’ conditions and report significant changes to the supervising RN or healthcare provider

• Perform routine nursing tasks including wound care, specimen collection, and catheter care

• Obtain and document vital signs and maintain accurate clinical records

• Support implementation of individualized care plans through ongoing communication with the care team

• Promote resident comfort, dignity, and safety in all interactions

• Assist in educating residents and families regarding care plans and health management

• Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and initiate timely intervention when needed

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Strong clinical observation and critical thinking skills

• Ability to document accurately and communicate effectively with team members

• Compassionate and dependable approach to resident care

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
