Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This role involves providing critical care to adult patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their Arkansas nursing license on the first day of employment. This position starts on June 29, 2026, and requires working night shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
- Specialty: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Arkansas Licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 2 years of Critical Care experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS; CCRN is preferred
- Additional Information:
- Infection control measures include flu vaccination; exemption must be client approved
- Float to stepdown and medical-surgical units may be required
- All licensed personnel must pass a medication and math competency test with a minimum score of 90% before medication administration responsibilities
- The position has an open bed count of 32 with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
- Dress code is black scrubs, no open toe shoes
- The bill rate for local candidates will be $10 below the posted travel rate
