The Principal Program Cost Control Analyst (PCA) will provide program planning and financial control support within one of the following three sector divisions:Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) DivisionMultidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability (MSTS) DivisionNavigation, Intelligence & Connectivity (NIS) DivisionThe PCA will interface with the program managers, functional management, cost account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements. They will prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.The PCA will monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. This will include performing perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development, and analysis of estimates to complete.The PCA will perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines, including maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. The PCA will support audits and reviews as requested by programs, customers, and company management, support Annual Operating Plan, Resource Plan, and Long Range Strategic Plan activity, and prepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations (IPRS, Dashboards, BARs, Etc.)The PCA will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of related professional experienceExperience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysisStrong PC skills - specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.US CitizenshipAbility to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related fieldExperience with Earned Value ManagementExperience with COBRA, COGNOS, SAPExperience in the Aerospace and Defense industryWhat We Can Offer You Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
