What You'll Do

• Support oversight of daily nursing department operations within skilled nursing services
• Lead and support nursing staff in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care
• Assist with staff coaching, mentoring, education, and performance management
• Monitor clinical quality indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Help ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and survey readiness
• Oversee or support specialty programs such as Infection Control, Wound Care, Restorative Nursing, Psychotropics, and Fall Prevention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic resident care planning
• Assist with staffing coordination and nursing leadership coverage as needed
• Support implementation of operational goals and department initiatives
• Promote a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and resident outcomes

Schedule

• Full-time, exempt position
• Hours may vary based on operational and leadership coverage needs

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years of nursing leadership experience within long-term care or skilled nursing
• Previous experience as an ADON or DON strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Experience with Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office Suite
