Senior Associate Attorney

Employer-Side Employment AttorneyGrowing Washington employment law firm is seeking an experienced Employer-Side Employment Attorney to advise and represent Washington employers on a variety of workplace and employment matters.The attorney will work directly with employer clients and handle matters independently, while collaborating with attorneys and paralegals.Key Practice Areas:Employer-side employment lawEmployment litigationWage & hour mattersWorkers' compensationWorkplace safety / WISHA / OSHAWorkplace investigationsEmployment policies and complianceAdministrative proceedingsEmployer training and counselingResponsibilities:Advise Washington employers on employment and workplace issues.Independently manage employment matters from inception through resolution.Develop legal strategy and assess employment-related risks.Draft pleadings, discovery, legal memoranda, correspondence, policies, and other documents.Represent employers in negotiations, administrative proceedings, hearings, and litigation.Conduct and/or assist with workplace investigations.Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.Monitor developments in Washington employment law.Meet an annual billable expectation of 1,250-1,600 hours, depending on the position structure.Must-Haves:5+ years of legal experience.Active Washington State Bar license.Experience representing employers, businesses, or organizations.Ability to independently manage matters and communicate directly with clients.Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.Comfortable handling employment-related matters and advising clients on risk.Preferred Experience:Employer-side employment litigationWage & hourWorkers' compensationWISHA / OSHAAdministrative agency proceedingsWorkplace investigationsEmployment policy developmentClient training, seminars, or webinarsBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person Protouch Staffing
