Automotive Technical Specialist

Precision of New Hampton , a family-run and financially strong manufacturing company, is seeking a knowledgeable Automotive Technical Specialist with strong expertise in transmissions and torque converters. This is an office-based position focused on providing technical support and training to our customers while helping strengthen our internal team’s knowledge. Key Responsibilities Stay current on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in transmission rebuilding and torque converters Provide technical support and guidance to customers over the phone Train and support internal employees on technical knowledge and procedures Update company literature, guides, and training materials Attend industry conferences, trainings, and events as a company representative Requirements Strong knowledge of the Transmission Rebuild process and related components Solid understanding of Torque Converters (in-depth expertise is a significant advantage) Excellent verbal communication skills — able to clearly explain technical information to customers and team members Strong customer service mindset and professional phone presence Willingness to relocate to New Hampton, IA (if not already living nearby) Compensation & Benefits Salary: $50,000 – $75,000 per year (based on experience) Large Performance Bonus 401(k) with Profit Sharing Employer Paid Healthcare Paid Time Off Supportive, family-oriented company culture If you have a deep passion for automotive transmissions, enjoy helping others solve technical challenges, and are looking for a stable, rewarding career with real growth potential, we want to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr Precision of New Hampton
