Job Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and thorough evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to formulate and execute personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative support, involving room preparation, optimal patient positioning, and instrument handling during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations strongly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility to obtain
