Requisition #:677566 Location:Johns Hopkins Imaging, Columbia, MD 21044 Category:Radiology/Imaging Schedule:Rotating Shift Employment Type:Casual / On Call Our breast imaging experts specialize in both screening and diagnostic imaging services for our patients, including mammography, 3D mammography (tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound and breast MRI. Our team also performs breast biopsies as part of breast cancer diagnosis. Our breast imaging researchers evaluate new technologies to better diagnose and treat breast tissue abnormalities. Some examples of our current research projects include evaluation of pre-operative localization techniques in the breast and axilla and evaluation of artificial intelligence applied to breast imaging triage, characterization and diagnosis. We are seeking a flexible team member to support staffing needs across our imaging locations. Coverage opportunities are available 7 days a week between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM , based on operational needs. Training Requirements During the first 90 days, the selected candidate will complete orientation and competency training. Candidates must be available to train a minimum of 16 hours per week for the first three months. Ongoing Commitment After successful completion of training, candidates are required to work a minimum of one 8-hour shift per month. Additional shifts will typically be available and may be offered based on staffing needs. Candidates interested in a more consistent schedule: we could have scheduled shifts on the weekends. Work with diverse employee and patient population Hear from our staff about their experience working for Johns Hopkins: Minimum Qualifications Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program. ARRT Mammography certified with current registration. Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians required. CPR certification required within three months of employment. Experience performing general breast studies. Experience in diagnostic and affirm biopsies preferred. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care and customer service. Flexibility to support coverage across multiple days and shifts as needed. Salary Range: Minimum $53.00/hour - Maximum $53.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
