We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and motivated Service Department Porter to join our team and help us keep our service operations running like a well-oiled machine. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) As a Service Porter, you are the heartbeat of our service drive. You will be responsible for managing the flow of vehicles and ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests. Greet & Guide: Welcome customers arriving for service with a friendly attitude and direct them to their Service Advisor. Vehicle Logistics: Move customer vehicles safely from the service drive to designated parking areas, technician bays, and the car wash. Quality Presentation: Install protective steering wheel covers, floor mats, and seat covers before vehicles are serviced. Final Touch: Retrieve vehicles for customers when their service is complete, ensuring they are clean and parked in the pickup lane. Lot Maintenance: Keep the service drive, parking lots, and shop areas clean, organized, and free of debris. Team Support: Run errands for the service department as needed (e.g., picking up parts or shuffling vehicles between lots). What We’re Looking For (Qualifications) Driver's License: A valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (this is a must!). Attitude: A positive, high-energy personality with excellent customer service skills. Pace: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay on your feet for most of your shift. Skills: Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission (stick shift) vehicles is a major plus, but not required. Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat). Background: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check and drug screening.
