Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. In this role, you will support daily restaurant operations by ensuring dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned efficiently and properly. This position is essential to keeping service running smoothly and helping the team deliver a positive guest experience. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Operate dishwashing machines and follow all cleaning and sanitation procedures. Sort, stack, and store cleaned items in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, kitchen floors, trash areas, and related workspaces. Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks as assigned. Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with restaurant procedures. Support team members by restocking clean items as needed. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines at all times. Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Dependable, punctual, and willing to take direction. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work. Comfort working around heat, moisture, and cleaning chemicals. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful, but not required. Preferred Attributes Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Work Environment This position is based in a busy restaurant kitchen and may require evenings, weekends, and holidays.
