Certified Nursing Assistant - Cardiovascular Pre/Post ProcedureCertified Nursing Assistant - Cardiovascular Pre/Post Procedure3-4 years of CNA experience required!Department: Cardiovascular Pre/Post ProcedureLocation: Forsyth Medical CenterSchedule: 6am-6:30pm, Full-Time - 36 hours per week - No weekends/holidaysThe Cardiovascular Pre/Post Procedure (CVPP) Unit is a specialized, fast-paced department where team members play an essential role in preparing patients for cardiac procedures and providing attentive care throughout their recovery. As a transitional unit, patients typically have short lengths of stay, with many recovering for just a few hours before returning home the same day. This creates a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and exceptional teamwork is key to delivering outstanding patient care.We're Looking for Someone Who:Has 3-4 years of CNA experienceThrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently.Takes initiative and stays engaged during slower periods.Is attentive, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.Values teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.Wants to be part of a unit led by an engaged leader who encourages collaboration, values new ideas, and supports professional growth.What You'll DoProvides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.Pre Procedure Patient PreparationTaking vital signsMonitoringFluid managementAssist with post Procedure movementWhat We're Looking ForEducation: High school diploma or GED, required.Experience: One year, preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, requiredLicensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required.
