divh2Accounting Supervisor/h2pWe are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounting Supervisor to lead day-to-day accounting operations while supporting a high-performing team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting, while also serving as a hands-on contributor within the accounting function./ppThe Accounting Supervisor partners closely with the Accounting Manager to support financial close, reporting, audits, and ongoing process improvements, while providing coaching and guidance to team members./ph3Essential Duties And Responsibilities/h3ulliSupervise daily activities of accounting staff, including assigning work, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables/liliReview account reconciliations, journal entries, invoices, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies/liliSupport and oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes/liliManage a portfolio of clients, including preparing and reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, invoicing, and financial reporting/liliServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring excellent service and timely communication/liliPerform and review complex accounting transactions and analyses/liliProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members/liliEnsure consistency in accounting processes, documentation, and workpaper standards/liliIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy/liliSupport internal controls and maintain audit-ready documentation/liliAssist with financial statement preparation and management reporting/liliAnalyze variances and account activity to identify trends and discrepancies/liliCoordinate audit support, including documentation and auditor requests/liliAct as a point of escalation for complex accounting issues/liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and process alignment/liliSupport special projects and system or process enhancements/li/ulh3Supervisory Responsibilities/h3ulliLead, coach, and develop team members/liliParticipate in hiring, training, and onboarding/liliAssign and direct work, evaluate performance, and provide feedback/liliAddress employee concerns and support resolution of issues/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pstrongRequired:/strong/pulliBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field/lili5+ years of progressive accounting experience/liliExperience reviewing accounting work or guiding team members/li/ulpstrongPreferred:/strong/pulliPrior supervisory or team lead experience/liliCPA certification/liliHealthcare industry experience/li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills Abilities/h3ulliStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP/liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills/liliAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines/liliStrong attention to detail and organizational skills/liliEffective communication and leadership abilities/liliProficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel/liliAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment/liliCollaborative mindset with a focus on accountability and team success/li/ulh3Work Environment Physical Requirements/h3pThis role operates in a professional office environment with a low noise level.
