As a Certified Medical Assistant (MA‑C) in Dermatology, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional skin care, supporting providers, guiding patients, and helping them improve confidence and health every day. In this dynamic, team‑based environment, you’ll combine clinical skills with compassionate care to create a seamless, supportive experience for patients—from routine screenings to specialized dermatologic procedures. Responsibilities The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. An MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for the assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands‑on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association 6 months of healthcare experience 6 months of medical assistant experience Preferred Qualifications Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification Benefits This position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes a retirement 401(k) savings plan with employer matching, health care benefits (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, disability insurance, paid parental leave, vacation, holidays, and wellness resources.
