About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for University Advancement to lead and manage the strategic and operational aspects of fundraising, alumni relations, and philanthropic support. The successful candidate will be a community-focused, collaborative, and innovative leader with a proven track record in advancement, particularly within a higher education setting. Responsibilities for the role include providing vision and leadership for the University Advancement division, coordinating fundraising and alumni relations initiatives, and ensuring the successful implementation of strategies that benefit the institution as a whole. The VP will also be responsible for managing a personal portfolio of top-tier prospects, leading efforts to build volunteer and philanthropic leadership, and fostering deep engagement with the university's alumni. Applicants for the Vice President for University Advancement position at the company should have a minimum of ten years' of experience in fundraising and managerial roles, with a strong background in development, including individual, corporate, and foundation relations. The role requires a candidate with a deep appreciation for the mission of the institution, the ability to inspire philanthropic support, and a commitment to working in a team environment.
