You’ll move from whiteboard concepts to shop-floor execution—translating complex customer needs into practical equipment and technology solutions that make manufacturing smarter, faster, and more reliable.

What your day could look like

Morning might start with refining a design for a new assembly fixture, modeling options to optimize throughput. By mid-day, you’re troubleshooting a controls issue on a pilot line—isolating a sensor fault, validating PLC logic, and restoring stability ahead of a customer trial. In the afternoon, you could be reviewing a vendor proposal, aligning scope and timelines, and then jumping on a call to prepare an equipment quotation that supports the sales and project teams. As implementation ramps up, you’ll coordinate contractors, oversee line setup and facility installs, and lead hands-on training for maintenance and production teams. Along the way, you’ll surface cost-saving opportunities and keep communication clear so customer confidence stays high.

Impact you’ll make

• Invent and refine equipment and technology to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, controls, and production system issues; support trials, installations, and customer meetings.
• Partner with sales and project teams on quotes, project evaluations, and vendor/contractor coordination.
• Lead implementation: production line setup, assembly, facility installations, staffing plans, and workforce training.
• Strengthen relationships through timely problem-solving, continuous improvement, and measurable cost reductions.

What you bring

• Master’s degree or 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience, with depth in electrical engineering, system controls, mechanical engineering, and system dynamics.
• Fluency in interpreting technical documentation, business data, industry publications, and regulatory guidance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; comfortable preparing reports and presenting complex information to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and troubleshooting skillset paired with practical project management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Outlook, and AutoCAD, plus solid technical calculations and data analysis capability.

Compensation

Salary: $80k - $90k+ (DOE)
