No matter where your talents lie, join us and discover how we can advance health together.Duke Health Integrated Practice comprises more than 110 primary and specialty outpatient clinics, extending the reach of the Duke Health mission across the state of North Carolina.$7,500 Commitment Bonus for qualifying candidates!Job LocationDuke Children's Specialty Services of Greensboro1126 N Church St Suite 203Greensboro, NC 27401Job SummaryWe are seeking a Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA/RMA) in our Duke Children's Specialty Services Clinic located in Greensboro, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform patient intake including: obtaining vital signs (including manual blood pressures), administering survey tools, data collection, education screens, assisting patients with ambulation/toileting, reviewing patient medications, assisting patients with preparing questions for provider visit.Completing procedural tasks including: administering medications according to protocols and provider orders, assisting with clinic-performed procedures, EKGs, place Holter monitors), reviewing pre-printed material with patient/family, bill for nursing procedures.Monitor and initiate corrective action to maintain the environment of care, including equipment and material resources.Documentation in electronic health record.
