Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care within a specialized unit that manages patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing skills. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift, and a minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a progressive care or similar setting.
• Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment within 8 hours of patient admission to develop an individualized care plan. Responsible for timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses. Initiates discharge planning from the day of admission and provides patient education in preparation for discharge. Communicates effectively with care team members, participates in team activities to foster a positive work environment, and assumes charge responsibilities as needed. Engages in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance clinical competencies.
