Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 schedule)
• On-call rotation required including weekends
• Float within scope to OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient and ER coverage
• Perform radiographic procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
• Apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and/or pediatric radiology
• Work with high degree of technical competency and ability to act with initiative and minimum supervision
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, CPR
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience required
• Must provide own radiation badge (agency responsibility)
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Work with Phillips and Toshiba equipment
• Serve patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Epic charting system preferred (Cerner experience also noted)
• Free parking available
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible (June-November)

This Level III Trauma acute care hospital features 286 staffed beds and provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The facility utilizes advanced imaging equipment and maintains high standards for radiologic services across multiple departments including operating rooms, orthopedics, fluoroscopy, and emergency services. The organization supports both inpatient and outpatient care with modern technology and Epic charting systems.
