Plans, coordinates, and supervises shipping and receiving schedules. Responsible for the accurate tracking of all materials received at the loading docks, ensuring they are properly delivered to appropriate parties when received. Maintains relationships with all contractors/staff to ensure all personnel are aware of and adhering to facility policies and applicable laws. Reviews and collaboration with the OSU Safety Department, ensuring all plans comply with OSU-CHS policies and appropriate personnel are scheduled. Works in collaboration with the Event Managers and Safety Department to review all special requests relating to equipment storage or other adjustments as needed to dock area. Responsible for the oversight and management of loading dock logistics, ensuring the efficient operation for all areas of responsibility, including product, people, and machinery(forklift) Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and safety regulations pertaining to loading docks, forklifts, and material handling safety, chemical handling, proper chemical storage and potential spill clean-up process and procedures Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and internet proficiency Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, logistics, and operations experience Previous experience in a public assembly facility in a similar position Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge Working knowledge of the principles of facility management, services, and equipment for a similar facility #J-18808-Ljbffr
