Associate Attorney - Tech+IP Licensing

A top-tier law firm's technology transactions practice is seeking a mid-level corporate associate to join a high-profile licensing team, working directly with a nationally recognized partner in the space. This role offers the rare chance to work on sophisticated technology licensing matters for a roster of marquee clients, including several of the world's leading AI and technology companies. Associates in this seat regularly interface directly with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives such as chief operating officers, giving them exposure and relationship-building opportunities well beyond the typical mid-level associate role. What you’ll do Structure, draft, and negotiate complex technology and IP licensing agreements Advise on cross-border licensing, data rights, and technology transfer issues Serve as a key point of contact for sophisticated in-house teams and executives Collaborate closely with a leading partner in the technology licensing space What we’re looking for 3–6 years of corporate/technology transactions experience at a top law firm Strong drafting and negotiation skills in licensing, IP, or technology agreements Comfort operating with significant client-facing responsibility Excellent judgment, business acumen, and communication skills This is a unique opportunity to build a national reputation in technology licensing while working directly with senior partners and executives from blue chip tech companies.
