As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist visitors and staff with professionalism, provide clear communication, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.34 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri05:00 PM - 09:30 PMSun12:30 PM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
