Electronics Technician I | Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States Job Summary: Electronics Technician I - Bloomfield, CT About the Role Indotronix is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician I to join our dynamic team in Bloomfield, CT. This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to work on innovative elevator system technology, developing and testing cutting-edge electronics. Become an integral part of projects that impact safety, efficiency, and reliability in a collaborative engineering environment. Responsibilities - Assemble, solder, and fabricate mixed-technology PCBs for prototype development using solder paste stencils, microscopes, reflow ovens, and manual soldering tools. - Procure components, organize BOMs, and support all aspects of PCB assembly and testing. - Download and install software/firmware to target assemblies; document and communicate results. - Manage engineering lab inventory, including calibration and replenishment of instrumentation and consumables. - Support maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of test equipment and simulators related to elevator electronics. Required Skills and Experience - AS in Electrical Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering Technology. - 3-5 years of hands-on experience with PCB assembly, fabrication, and testing. - Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, curve-tracers, and laboratory instruments. - Strong electrical and mechanical engineering aptitude. - Experience building and designing test fixtures and equipment. - Comfort working with high-voltage equipment. - Familiarity with electrical engineering CAD tools. - Proven project organization and execution skills. Preferred Skills - Experience with elevator, escalator, or related Otis equipment. - Familiarity with documentation systems such as Otis drawing database. - Exposure to field failure analysis and quality assurance initiatives.
