About the Position

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Not specified Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must take calls 15 or more times a month. Availability for upcoming holidays. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 5 years of Meditech experience. Description: The unit has 10 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites. Staffing levels vary according to the shift. Day shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. Night shift includes a charge nurse and RNs. Patient ratios are 1:1. The type of equipment used includes OR EMR and Meditech. All types of procedures are performed except transplants. Candidates with neuro experience, ECRP experience, vascular experience, or advanced procedures experience are preferred. The best personality fit is flexible and a team player. There are on-call requirements and holiday coverage. Dress code is hospital-provided scrubs. Unit guidelines and policies can be reviewed upon request.
