Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tradesman/Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various trades, demonstrating proficiency in both general construction and specialized tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion of projects, ranging from remodeling to new construction. We are looking for someone who is able to problem solve and be a self starter in certain projects and roles. Being able to time manage in order to ensure projects get done in a safe but efficient manner is another characteristic we are looking for. We take pride in our quality of work and craftsmanship. We are only looking for someone with at least two years of experience in the general construction/handyman work. Serious applicants only.
Duties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Perform remodeling projects, including kitchen and bathroom renovations.
- Install cabinets with precision, ensuring alignment and stability.
- Execute construction painting tasks, maintaining a high standard of finish.
- Conduct general electrical work as needed, adhering to safety regulations and codes.
- Apply caulking techniques for weatherproofing and sealing gaps.
- Ensure plumbing installations are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Restore existing structures while preserving their integrity and aesthetics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades including remodeling, cabinet installation, electrical work, and painting.
- Strong proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with accuracy.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and plumbing systems is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Being able to complete tasks in a given timeline.
- A commitment to safety practices on job sites.
- Previous experience in construction management is a plus but not required.
