Systems Administrator

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a bachelors degree and at least 5 years of relevant systems administration experience, or an additional 2 years of experience in place of the degree.
• We require a current Security+ certification.
• We need hands-on experience supporting enterprise Microsoft environments at the Tier II level.
• We require virtualization experience with VMware vSphere.
• We need experience remediating vulnerabilities from ACAS scan results and security guidance, including implementing STIGs and system hardening measures.
• We require an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and VMware Certified Professional (VCP) credentials are preferred.

• We provide Tier II and Tier III technical support while maintaining the availability, reliability, and security of enterprise systems.
• We administer Windows servers, workstations, Microsoft 365 services, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications.
• We manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file shares, and print services, and we support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• We troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, application, hardware, software, operating system, network, and account issues.
• We apply operating system and application patches using Ivanti or similar tools.
• We carry out vulnerability remediation based on ACAS findings and security direction.
• We implement STIGs and perform system hardening activities.
• We administer VMware virtual machines and support Microsoft Azure virtual machines and cloud services.
• We travel between our Alexandria, VA and Arlington, VA locations as needed.

This role supports the administration, maintenance, and operation of enterprise information systems in a secure Microsoft environment, with travel required between our Alexandria and Arlington, VA locations.
