WHO WE NEED The position is a Part‑Time/Full‑Time/Seasonal role that patrols an assigned area and directs vehicle and pedestrian foot traffic at a specific intersection or specified locations. This position also deploys traffic equipment such as signs, cones, barricades, and other equipment. It assesses the need for traffic direction and control. Directs traffic and provides traffic control for special events and other times where traffic management is required. Set up barricades and traffic cones along active roadways. Remove all signs, barricades and traffic cones upon completion of work. Provide direction for vehicle and pedestrian traffic using verbal communication and hand signals. Protect persons and property from harm by identifying hazards and removing them. IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLS Ability to maintain a positive attitude. Problem‑solving skills. Ability to work with others in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication skills. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS At least 19 years old. High school diploma or equivalent.
