Production Equipment Maintenance Manager

LHH is partnering with a manufacturing company located in Kent, WA in the hiring of a Production Equipment Maintenance Manager. This person will oversee all work orders related to production equipment and facility maintenance while leading safety, compliance, and preventive maintenance programs. This role requires a hands-on leader who can work directly on equipment while also communicating maintenance KPIs and priorities to site leadership.

Responsibilities included:

• Oversee repair, maintenance, and reliability of production equipment and facility systems
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC machines and related production equipment
• Lead preventive and emergency maintenance activities to minimize downtime
• Perform hands-on mechanical troubleshooting including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Coordinate and manage external vendors for specialized repairs and facility upgrades
• Oversee safety programs and regulatory compliance
• Manage hazardous materials processes, documentation, and required reporting
• Track maintenance activities, documentation, and KPIs
• Proven ability to interface with senior leadership
• Supervise and support team of technicians

Qualifications needed:

• 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, facilities, or production equipment management
• Experience working in an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on experience with CNC mills, CNC lathes, and production equipment
• Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Experience supporting safety programs and regulatory compliance (OSHA/EPA exposure required)
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered

• Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 120 hours a year with an increase after tenure, 9 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave (Washington State). PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
