Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions that concentrate on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate closely with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise routines
• Record evaluations, treatments, and patient progress adhering to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and care rounds to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited program

Certifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state
• CPR certification is desirable
• Special certifications (such as in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
