South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care is looking for a full -time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community .

Our progressive compensation model is designed to reward your impact, offering a competitive base salary alongside production opportunities-with no negative accrual.
You'll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. You'll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.

We have a highly trained and qualified staff of veterinarians to treat your animals. Our goal is to not do what a primary care veterinarian does but to complement what they do.
Our specialists provide advanced care across a wide range of services, including critical care, internal medicine, medical oncology, radiology, radioactive iodine treatment, cardiology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, pain management, and soft tissue surgery. We work closely with your primary care veterinarian to ensure seamless, coordinated care for your pet. This team will showcase top-quality veterinary medicine, benefit from a strong local referral network, and embody the type of core values that support:
Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $ 1 80 K /year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Your Experience & Skills
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
- State Veterinary Board License:
- Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
- Obtained prior to start date
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
- E xperience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
