Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role supports the Operations Maintenance team by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging, distribution, and material handling equipment within a high-volume facility at one of the largest companies in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance routines on material handling equipment and document all work accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and related components.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, including conveyor systems and associated controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support pneumatic systems throughout the building by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing components as needed.
• Move, lift, and position equipment and materials up to 49 pounds and perform tasks that require standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Assist with robotic operation and maintenance tasks as needed, including basic troubleshooting of input and output functions.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience working with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• At least 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• At least 2 years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• At least 1 year of knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical and electronic principles.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance technician duties, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Industrial maintenance experience in a production, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 49–50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, and reaching above the head.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
