The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) is an 18 to 24-month structured and comprehensive training program to develop leadership and operational knowledge. The position involves working collaboratively with different teams to gain insights into the business, processes, and strategies to align with customer retention, all facets of operational excellence, and metrics. This position will give you a chance to utilize your problem‑solving abilities to help make good business decisions for the company. Compensation Information: Pay Type: Salaried Minimum Pay Range: $68,000 | Maximum Pay Range: $68,000 The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Career Overview (Operations Management Trainee - OMT) The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) is an 18 to 24-month structured and comprehensive training program to develop leadership and operational knowledge. Essential Functions: Responsible for the customer relationship activities by providing quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers. Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction. Manage running costs and maintenance overheads. Ensure policy and processes are followed to optimize running costs and maintenance overhead. Accountable for coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow‑up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility. Additional Responsibilities: Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities: Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices required. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Instills commitment to organizational goals required. Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills. Able to prioritize work. Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast-paced environment, required. Strong mechanical skills are required. Effective interpersonal skills and excellent influencing skills, required. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors), required. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team is required. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, required. 1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution, preferred. Strong PC knowledge/skills to include spreadsheet and word processing software packages. Advanced skills are required. Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls, and metrics.
