Mechanical Engineer III | Sacramento, CA (Onsite)
We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer III to join a leading industrial tools engineering team in Rancho Cordova, CA . If you enjoy hands-on design, building real-world machinery, and working across mechanical systems—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop industrial tools, machinery, and mechanical components
- Create detailed SolidWorks designs , drawings, and GD&T-based documentation
- Work on electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and product teams
- Lead projects independently from concept → prototype → final build
- Support assembly, testing, and real-world problem solving in shop environments
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design & drafting
- Strong experience with SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD)
- Solid understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Background in industrial equipment, tools, or machinery design
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (Master’s a plus)
⭐ Nice to Have:
- CNC or machine design experience
- Additive manufacturing exposure
- Custom tooling or industrial equipment design
