In this onsite role, you will provide dedicated support to students, collaborating with educators and families to foster communication growth and student success. You will be based at an elementary campus offering a consistent weekly schedule and the chance to develop lasting professional relationships throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds an active North Carolina SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students in a collaborative, onsite capacity
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop tailored IEP goals for students
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services individually and in small groups, adhering to school guidelines
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary team members to support student achievement
- Maintain clear, timely records in accordance with educational and regulatory standards
- Participate in relevant meetings, training, and professional development activities
