Bookstore Associate Location: Payson, UT Status: Part-time Hours: Monday Friday; 8:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. (schedule is flexible) Pay / Salary: $12.50 / Hour Summary As the Bookstore Associate, you will assist with shipments, orders, purchases, and interoffice mail. The Bookstore Associate plays an essential role in helping MTECH students receive a quality education by ensuring that students and faculty have access to the educational materials they need when they need them. What Youll Do: Responsibilities of the Bookstore Associate include, but are not limited to: Monitor and document all incoming shipments and prepare interoffice mail for delivery to MTECH campuses.Process instructor orders for materials required for class instruction and ensure items are stocked in the store.Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and fulfill orders accurately and on time.Assist customers with their purchases.Be willing to cover other shifts or work at different Bookstore locations as needed.Maintain accurate inventory records and place orders to replenish stock as necessary.Participate in all required meetings and training sessions. What Were Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent.Excellent customer service skills.Proficient in computer usage, including ten-key.Experience with database management, data entry, and maintaining records in written or electronic formats.Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and information clearly and fluently in English.Capable of following written and verbal instructions and adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and policies.Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.Physically able to lift 50+ pounds.
