Chief Internal Audit & Risk Leader (Denver)

Colorado PERA seeks a Chief Audit Executive to lead the Internal Audit Division, develop risk-based audit plans, and ensure governance, risk management, and control processes are effective. The role reports to the CEO/Executive Director and oversees staff, budget, and external coordination.
The ideal candidate has extensive audit leadership experience, knowledge of IIA Global Standards, and applicable certifications (CPA/CIA/CISA/CISM, etc.). Hybrid work options are available in this role.
