As a Regional Carrier Representative ,you'llbe at the center of our brokerage operationsconnecting qualified carriers with available freight and keeping freight moving across the country.You'llpartner closely with teams across ATS Logistics and serve as the key link between carriers and our shippers/customers.

WhatYou'llDo

As a Regional Carrier Representative ,you'llbe a trustedpartnerhelpingcarriersdiscovertransportationsolutions that truly make a difference.Core responsibilities:

• Contact existing,inactiveor potential carriers

• Negotiate rates with carriers to handle customer shipments;maintainpricing and rate quoting competitive to the current market conditions

• Learn to sell our well recognized product

• Dispatch qualified carrier to available freight, providing all pertinent information necessary fora high levelof service, responding to questions,investigatingand resolving problems as needed, and updating carrier trips in the data system

• Update computer system to reflectaccurateinformation

• Manage a book of business of more than a million dollars annually

• Act as a liaison between carriers and shippers

• Comfortable handling outboundcalls, inboundcalls,customermeetings

• Experienced incustomer service(or eager to learn with transferable skills)

• Organized, disciplined, and proactive withfollow-through

Compensation & Benefits

• Totalcash compensation rangeofthis position is $51,000.00 to $57,000.00+, including a base salary starting at $45,000+anda first-year training incentive of $6,000.00. Base salary offered isdeterminedby relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doingsubstantially similarwork. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
