Business Development Manager - Commercial Roofing Position: Business Development Manager Location: Houston, TX Salary: $130,000 base + commission Benefits: Company vehicle, healthcare, PTO and training & development The opportunity: You’ve built relationships in the industrial market. Now put them to work with a business that has the reputation, delivery capability and ambition to turn those relationships into serious opportunities. Our client is an established industrial roofing, siding and building envelope specialist that is now part of a larger national group. The business is targeting growth to $50m, and you’ll play a central role in getting it there. With the current Business Development lead preparing to retire, you’ll inherit established customer relationships and receive a direct handover, giving you a foundation to build on from day one. Build on established relationships. Take over existing accounts while opening doors through your own network. Have technical support behind you. Focus on developing relationships and winning opportunities, with specialists supporting the technical detail. The role: You’ll take ownership of existing accounts and drive new business across the Gulf Coast and wider US, building relationships with general contractors, engineering firms, plant owners and industrial decision makers. Much of the work is invitation only, so your ability to earn trust, secure introductions and stay close to upcoming projects will matter. Expect a substantial focus on hunting for new opportunities, alongside protecting and expanding the existing customer base. You’ll bring a proven track record in industrial construction, energy, petrochemical, power, LNG or a closely related market. Established Houston and Gulf Coast relationships will be particularly valuable. Roofing expertise is useful; credibility with the people buying industrial construction services is essential. The role is remote / field based, with approximately 40% travel.
