About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in San Antonio, Texas, 78236!

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical ICU setting, utilizing strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Adhere to unit floating policy as all travelers are required to float per facility guidelines
• Maintain punctuality and compliance with badging requirements, including a full 30-minute lunch break
• Follow facility dress code, attendance, and acknowledgement policies throughout the assignment

• Active Texas RN License required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Strong critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex, critically ill patients

• MICU or MSICU background
• Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Exposure to Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system

• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity surgical ICU environment within a well-established, nationally recognized medical center
