Assembler I

Job Title: Assembler I Location: South Chesterfield, VA Responsibilities Responsible for the assembly or production of component parts into completed subassemblies, assemblies or completed units adhering to the assembly traveler/standard work instructions. Inspects parts or completed units by using visual inspection, gauges, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment. Perform end‑of‑line product checks and/or repairs. Notify/communicate with assemblers, leads, and supervisors or upstream changes to ensure products meet specifications. Assist assembly groups with problem solving. Makes recommendations for in‑line and subsequent checks to increase first pass yield. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 1–2 years of production assembly work. Fit for the Role Basic reading/writing skills. Good communication skills. Understanding of 6S. Ability to read and understand all job specifications. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
