Review of applications will thenstopfor the semester once the vacancy has been filled. Adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach courses in Chemistry. Depending upon program needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments will be on LCC’s downtown Lansing campus. Adjunct faculty are expected to work collaboratively with senior department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students, and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class. Additional responsibilities may include participation in course assessment, department/program meetings, professional development activities, and other duties as assigned. *In-person teaching is required* Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Chemistry (from a regionally accredited college or university) or a Master’s degree (from a regionally accredited college or university) with a minimum of 18 semester graduate credits (or the equivalent number of quarter hours) in Chemistry. Previous teaching experience.
