Job Description

We are seeking a variety of GENERAL LABOR / MACHINE SHOP ASSOCIATES for a manufacturing company in the Park Forest, IL area! We have immediate openings in numerous departments on the production floor depending on your experience and interest.

These are TEMP-TO-HIRE positions with insurance and OT available!

1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm
2nd shift 3:15pm-11:45pm OR 12:30pm-9:00pm

$17.00 - $18.50/hr depending on shift and department

Client is willing to train candidates with a solid work ethic and positive attitude. Previous warehouse experience preferred.

FABRICATION / MACHINE OPERATING
SHIPPING / WRAPPING
ASSEMBLY
POWDER COATING

Typical Job Duties

Operate machines including press machines and grinders, measure parts using a tape measure
Order pulling and fulfilling
Assembly using hand and power tools
Operate a manual pallet jack
Use shrink wrap machine to wrap pallets for shipment
Final Assembly and Shipping duties as needed

Qualifications:

At least 6 months of recent warehouse/production experience. Manufacturing experience a PLUS
Ability to handle physical workload, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for a full shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow direction
Familiarity with plant tools and equipment - hand tools, power tools, etc. PREFERRED
Ability to read a tape measure and solid math skills PREFERRED
MUST HAVE STEEL TOE BOOTS!!
