Overview Physical Therapist (General) position in Tacoma, Washington. Travel assignment begins 07/13/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Implement PT interventions including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, ROM, and modalities as appropriate. Monitor progress, reassess, and modify plans of care to optimize outcomes. Document assessments, treatments, and progress notes in the resident’s medical records. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nurses, OT, SLP, rehab aides) to coordinate care. Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention strategies. Requirements Physical Therapist degree from an accredited program. Ability to work in a skilled nursing/geriatric rehabilitation setting. Strong documentation and communication skills; proficient with electronic medical records. BLS/CPR certification. Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours (36 per week) on a 08:00–16:30, 5x8 schedule.
