HR Operations Specialist – Payroll & Administration* Job Description Posted Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 4:00 AM Location: Germany (hybrid/remote) Key Responsibilities End‑to‑end execution of monthly payroll for Germany, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Operational responsibility for core HR administrative processes, including: employee onboarding and offboarding contractual changes maintenance of employee master data Ownership of data quality and process consistency across HRIS (e.g. Dayforce), payroll systems, and external payroll providers Processing of bonuses, overtime, absences, and special payroll cases Coordination and collaboration with external payroll providers (e.g. Accace) Acts as a primary operational contact at the interface between HR, Payroll, and Finance Preparation of payroll‑related reports and support during internal and external audits Independent creation and correction of notifications via the German social security reporting portal (SV‑Meldeportal) Continuous identification of opportunities to improve and standardize HR and payroll processes Your Profile Several years of experience in HR Operations and/or Payroll Strong knowledge of German payroll, wage tax, and social security regulations Hands‑on experience with HRIS systems (ideally Dayforce) and payroll providers; DATEV experience is a plus High level of accuracy, reliability, and discretion, especially when handling sensitive data Structured and process‑oriented working style, with a clear sense of end‑to‑end ownership Confident communicator, comfortable working with multiple internal and external stakeholders Fluent German and good English skills for daily business HR System: Dayforce Payroll setup: DATEV and external providers What We Offer A critical, hands‑on role in a transforming HR and payroll environment High responsibility combined with a pragmatic, operational focus The opportunity to actively shape HR operations and payroll processes in a modern HRIS landscape * f/m/d - Diversity matters!
