Transportation Project Manager Dewberry is currently seeking a Transportation Project Manager in our Denver, CO office to lead our strategic growth initiative within the transportation market sector. This position offers expedited advancement into a Department Management role and will lead all transportation efforts in the Colorado market. Job Summary The successful candidate will possess strong market intelligence and leadership experience in the planning and design of state and local transportation infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategy, growing the transportation department, and managing all phases of transportation projects for public sector clients, including horizontal and vertical road alignments, drainage systems, storm water management, utility relocations, and contract documentation. The role may also engage Dewberry’s California market as part of the Western Region’s hub for transportation. Responsibilities The position requires 10+ years of leadership experience in transportation engineering. The candidate must be flexible, technologically savvy, and client focused. Responsibilities include familiarizing with state and local design standards and coordinating with other disciplines as necessary. Required Skills & Experience BS degree in Civil Engineering Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) License 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering Experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation InRoads Ability to develop and implement a strategic growth plan Ability to work in a timely fashion to meet project budgets Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub‑consultants, and review staff Ability to compose technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects Strong capabilities in Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, ProjectWise, PMWeb, and eConstruction Tools Knowledge of CDOT Design Manuals and Specifications; ability to work across CDOT regions Demonstrated CDOT experience preferred Benefits Health, dental, vision, and supplemental life insurance.
