JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE The Scheduler (Work Management) is responsible for managing schedule exceptions for simple projects, including both short- and long-cycle work, using scheduling software. The role ensures efficient dispatching of crews and the resolution of scheduling conflicts, while serving as a liaison between field operations, dispatch, and internal departments. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage exceptions to the scheduling software and generate schedules for simple projects. Coordinate with supervisors to resolve scheduling issues and prioritize work. Monitor communication channels (radio, phone, and system messages) and relay schedule adjustments to field crews. Dispatch work post-departure using scheduling software; adjust crews as needed. Contact customers to resolve access issues and complaints. Identify scheduling deficiencies and recommend conflict resolutions. Collaborate with internal departments and the Gas Dispatch Center to plan and adjust resources. Serve as a member of the Incident Response Team for emergency response coordination. This position may require to work shifts for 24/7 coverage, when needed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum education required of the position High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum experience required of the position 0 to 2 years of related experience. Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organizational structure. Experience or training in scheduling, maintenance, or construction practices.
